1. Introduction

Auralish Inc. ("Auralish," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in Canada, operates the mobile application Brief – AI Interview Coaching (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

By downloading, accessing, or using Brief, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

Minimum Age: Brief is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have collected information from a user under 16, we will delete it promptly.

This Policy is designed to comply with:

  • Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)
  • The EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), as applicable to California residents

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account information: name, email address, age
  • Profile information: profile image or avatar
  • Resumes/CVs: documents you upload for interview coaching purposes
  • Voice recordings: audio you record during mock interview sessions
  • Purchase information: records of in-app purchases and subscriptions (processed by our payment providers; we do not directly store full payment card details)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

2.3 Information from Third-Party Sign-In

  • If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image via our backend provider, Supabase.
  • If you sign in with Apple (Face ID / Sign in with Apple), authentication is handled on-device and via Apple's secure framework; we do not receive your biometric data — only a confirmation of identity verification and, if you permit it, your name and email.

2.4 Push Notifications

We collect a device push token to send you notifications about your interview practice, reminders, and app updates. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
